«Rosneft» has completely extinguished the credit

«Rosneft» has completely extinguished the credit for the sum of $1,85 млрд, received from syndicate of the international banks. «Rosneft» has completely extinguished the credit for the sum of $1,85 billion dollars, received about one year back from syndicate of the international banks within the limits of transaction REPO, press-service «Rosneft» informs. Financing of transaction REPO was carried out by syndicate of the international banks into which structure entered Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, J.P. Morgan Securities LTD, Morgan Stanley and Co. International PLS, Nexgen Capital Limited, Societe Generale, The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC. Barclays Bank PLC acted in a role of the credit agent and the organizer of the transaction.

As maintenance under the transaction the part of actions of the «Rosneft» were in the property of a 100 percent affiliated society of the company of Open Company “RN-Development” and got by it at auction within the limits of sale of property gone bankrupt «Yukos» has been used. Means have been given for a period of 1 year under the rate of 5,75 %. In the message also it is noticed that since September, 30th, 2007 «Rosneft» has reduced a pure debt more than to $8,5 billion to $19,2 billion as of March, 31st, 2009 and expects its further reduction in II quarter.

Besides, recently “Rosneft” has signed the agreement on attraction of the 20-year-old credit for the sum of $15 billion from Bank of Development of China. According to the company report for the first quarter, «Rosneft» has already received $800 million from this credit. The company in the beginning of year has ahead of schedule extinguished the credit at a rate of $577 million, involved in 4th quarter 2008 at Foreign trade and investment bank.
